Once again in 2018, as part of the Hurst Festival, local artists are opening their homes and studios to display their latest work. This year, we have 26 participating artists at 13 venues across the village.

The studios will be open on the weekends of 15 - 16 and 22 - 23 September 2018 on both Saturday and Sunday between 11:00 and 17:00. Please note that opening times may vary, with some studios open for one weekend only and others open according to shop opening hours, so check carefully before planning your visit. There is no charge for entry. Please come along and enjoy the Open Studios weekends.

The theme is Peace for this year's Hurst Festival and Open Studios. We are lucky enough to live in a beautiful, peaceful village.

For the second year running we are inviting the children to paint there interpretation of he festival's theme. These wonderful, colourful paintings will be on display at many of the Open Houses and Studios.

We will also have paintings featured in most of the shops in the village, painted by many of the exhibitors.

Refreshments will be offered in Sylvia Thornhill's garden, Pitt Lane (Venue 4) during the first weekend only. Proceeds are in aid of "West Sussex Association for Disabled People".
Refreshments will be offered at Jenny Letton's house, The Cake House in College Lane (Venue 13), both weekends.

See the map below for approximate locations and opening dates for each venue. The following pages give further details of the work on display at each location and some background information about the artists.
